Connect a Telegram channel

  1. On Channels, press Add the bot in Telegram and choose your channel. Or do it by hand: open your channel, then Administrators, Add admin, and search for our bot (its name is on the Channels page).
  2. Keep Post messages on. Keep Edit and Delete messages on too: they're needed for auto-delete and for checking the post stayed up.
  3. On Channels, enter the channel's @username (a private channel: its numeric ID, starting with -100).
  4. Put the code we show you in the channel's description and save it, then press Check. You can remove the code afterwards.

The code proves the channel is yours: adding the bot alone doesn't.
