What to put in a media kit for your page
When a brand is deciding whether to advertise with you, it needs answers quickly: who follows you, how many people see your posts, and what it costs. A media kit puts all of that on one page, so they don't need to ask.
What to include
- Who you are: your page's name, topic and links to each account, in a sentence or two.
- Audience size: followers per platform, and typical views or reach per post.
- Who your audience is: location, age and gender if your account shows them.
- What you sell: your packages and prices.
- Proof: past advertisers, reviews and results, if you have permission to share them.
- How to book: one clear next step.
Use honest numbers
Give your typical numbers, not your one viral post. Brands that book you will see the real results, and a promise you can't keep costs you the second booking, which is where the real money is. Numbers read directly from your accounts are also harder to doubt than a screenshot.
Mistakes that cost you bookings
- No prices. Many small businesses won't ask; they'll just move on.
- Old numbers. Update your kit, or use one that updates itself.
- Too long. One page is enough.
- Making people fill in a form before they can see anything.
Send it to the right people
Don't send it to everyone. Find businesses already advertising on similar pages, because they've already decided to spend. Say in a sentence why your audience suits them, then link your kit. Follow up once, then leave it.
Your Vumisha media kit
On Vumisha, the Media kit page gives you a private link showing your audience, rates and reviews. You can send it to brands or save it as a PDF, and they don't need to log in. It uses your connected accounts' numbers, so it stays up to date. Share it only with people you choose, since it shows your full audience detail.
Your public booking page does the rest: when they've read the kit, they can book directly.
